In-game Build Manager
This shouldn't be hard to do, but it would make things alot easier.
What about like an in-game tool to save, let's say up to 10 builds for each character? It displays what secondary class you need, you change to that class, click it and it changes from one skill set to another.
Would look like this:
Slot #, Name (you chose that), Skill bar, Secondary Class
Code:
[1] Tainted PvP [skill bar here] Elementalist
[2] Orders PvP [skill bar here] Monk
[2] Orders PvE [skill bar here] Monk
[4] Echo SS [skill bar here] Mesmer
Well, you get the idea. This would be great.

I've always wanted skill sets like we have weapon sets because its annoying changing from SS to MM or healer to bonder. Ideally, you're idea would change the attributes accordingly too.

I support this idea, although it may need a few tweaks to work properly (I currently see none, will update post if any come to mind)

I'm hoping that developers are including skill set system when Factions comes because I know that They know players want them ...And many times when Gaile visits in L.A someone usually takes this up.

A Build Save menu and the weapons mod trader are the two simple ideas I think would improve the game tremendously.
Basically I want a way to quickly switch out powers and attributes, saving my favorites.
Possible method:
When you press the J key (it isnt being used) a window will pop up with five to ten blank horizontal shaped buttons. If you click on a blank button, the button changes to mini Icons of your current tool bar, and saves your skills and attributes you currently have configured and assigns them to that button. A small red X delete button also appears next to each saved build so you can delete that build and save another in its place.
For my ranger, I would not have to remember the powers and attributes for my PvE team barrager, my PvP spike build, my Tombs B/P ranger, my Runner build, and my solo farmer build.

Also include Armor, Attributes, Weapons and make sure you can only use it while you're in a town ^^

/signed if it adjusts the attributes as well.
However, they've got a lot on their plate right now and I'd personally like to see the auction house concept done first. I think we'll have to be patient.

Now don´t get me wrong, this is a great idea, but it has been suggested over and over again in Sardelac Sanitarium. Haven´t seen any reply from Gail or Anet though..
Anyway...

Wanted this for ages, 're-rolling' a character just because you forgot a rune is ridiculous

Ummm don't they do this already? You know the whole change class thing in the desert? Oh and that nifty skill menu that lets you actually swap out skills in your skill bar. Yeah I think the keystrokes involved are M then you click on one of the desert towns then you talk to the ghost then you hit K and you change skills.
/not signed for two reasons. A) this is the height of laziness. B) this is the wrong forum for this crap.

Sorry, I don't live in these forums as you seem to do. It reads "Gather for community discussion on Guild Wars related topics", sounds about right for this...

To an extent it is for the lazy, considering it doesn't take long to rearrange skills and attributes. But, if you haven't used a build in a while or have a bad memory, it would be nice to have.
It's very convenient to have and it would decrease the amount of time waiting for people to set their builds in town.

You don't have to live here to be able to read. I can fit a round peg in a square hole too but that doesn't mean it fits there. I still think this is a lazy idea with no merit to it whatsoever. In my opinion they should hever have gotten rid of refund points because it just leads to stuff like this.
